Govt orders closure of Kashmir schools, colleges till Wednesday

Minister for Education Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari said the educational institutions will resume functioning from Thursday.

The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday decided to keep all the schools and colleges closed till Wednesday across Kashmir.

The decision has been taken as a “precautionary measure” to avoid “law and order situation” in the Valley.
